tell(ar) app for iPhone and iPad

We’ve built a simple app with the goal of letting users see a corner of the world through another user’s eyes. Find out what makes place special to someone or put down roots by planting your own story.

Know A Place:
-See a story by clicking on a tree logo on the map.
-Open a story by clicking on the preview at the bottom of the screen.

Tell Your Story:
-Tell your own story clicking on the camera at the top right.
-Once you’ve captured a photo add some text by tapping anywhere on the screen (you can add as much or as little as you want...this isn’t certain other apps).
-Plant your story to that location once your done.

User Stuff:
-If you want to plant a story you’ll need to login first.
Click on the “tell your story / know your place” button to login or signup.
-You can change your username or hometown through the button on the top right of the map screen.
-If you see a story that’s inappropriate hit the “!” inside the story and let us know.

Tell(ar) is an inclusive community where any user can share their story and any other user can see that story. We’re trying to build a positive community to share. For more information please refer to our Terms of Service or Privacy Policy.
